The Lenten Journey A series of devotions for Lent 2012  Journey 6 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory...” (2 Corinthians 3:18, NIV) Every step of a peregrination (a wandering journey in the Celtic tradition) is a cause for our hearts to burn with wonder and awe. Traveling hopefully is often a better thing than to arrive. (Robert Louis Stevenson) You are God’s feet, wandering the earth in search of transformation and new life. Where are your places of resurrection? The highest mountain? The lake? Ground Zero? The homeless shelter? The communion table? The hospital bed? The angel you meet on the road? May you always find God there. It has been a blessing to wander with you this Lent. Godspeed on the peregrinatio, and don’t forget your backpack!
